What is UHEQF?
The Uganda Higher Education Qualifications Framework defines 9 levels of awards — from Certificate (Level 1) through Doctorate (Level 9) — and standardises notional learning hours so that 1 Credit Unit equals 15 notional hours of learning. Every programme must declare its level, total CUs, admission requirements, learning outcomes (Knowledge, Skills, Competence) and progression pathways.
